Measurement Collection Engineer

Work as a Measurement Collection Engineer

In the role of measurement collection engineer, you will work with measurement, collection, and quality assurance of measurement values from our operations, primarily within electricity, water, heating, and cooling. You will have regular contact with both internal and external customers. Within the company, you will collaborate closely with the operations that are our clients, as well as project managers or other support functions that we cooperate with in routines and flows. Externally, we have our customers within measurement for billing purposes for companies, municipalities, and private individuals, and you will also have close cooperation with our suppliers, which is an important part of the role for continued quality work and development of our services and systems.

The role has a clear strategic focus where you work with investigation, planning, development, and improvement of our working methods and communication solutions. You will have significant opportunities to influence future processes and contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient systems for measurement data.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing system monitoring to check the status of various measurement collection systems and the need for updates/replacement of meters or other components
• Conducting database work related to integration and connection between meters and various systems
• Carrying out planned reporting work related to legal requirements and regulations
• Managing operation and configuration, troubleshooting of/in measurement and collection systems
• Collecting and quality assuring measurement data for electricity, water, and district heating
• Procurement and purchasing of systems and measurement equipment

You will be part of a competent and engaged group with four technicians, three engineers, and two administrators. Measurement Value Services is a strategically important part of the organization, and together we are responsible for the collection, quality assurance, and analysis of measurement values as well as the operation and development of our meter-related systems and integrations. As our new measurement collection engineer, you will play an important role in the team.

Your Profile

To thrive in the role of measurement collection engineer, you need to be structured, meticulous, and have a sense for details. You have a strategic and analytical approach to work and are both driven and solution-focused. You are responsible and have the ability to make decisions as well as plan and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you are motivated by creating good collaborations and maintaining clear communication with all contacts in your daily work.

You who are applying have:

• An engineering degree, at least at the university level, or equivalent work experience that we assess as comparable
• Relevant knowledge of measurement technology and data analysis, either from education or work life
• Knowledge of databases and integrations between them
• Good knowledge of the Office suite in general, especially Excel
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Driver's license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with measurement systems
• IT experience from the energy, water, or electricity sector
• Experience with Business Intelligence
• Experience with strategic work and project management
